Owners Andrew Wilson and Tony Ross both have a strong passion for delivering holistic architecture and design outcomes that connect with the end users and the surrounding environment in the best way possible. With a focus on delivering a high quality, collaborative and dedicated service to all clients, the aim is to bring the project’s vision to reality in the most stress-free and planned approach.
Specialising in all manner of residential homes and commercial projects in education, healthcare, hospitality and retail industries, the team are passionate about delivering a great experience for every client. Our team
Andrew Wilson – Architect
Andrew is a NSW + QLD Registered Architect, ACAA Accredited Access Consultant and the nominated Architect and Director of design studio 22. He has worked extensively in Sydney and NSW North Coast in the commercial field as project architect on numerous schools, health care facilities, capital works projects, sports centres, as well as, residential projects.
In his spare time you can find Andrew working on the finishing touches to his new home or on the tennis court.
Tony Ross – Building Designer
Tony is an accredited building designer and Director of design studio 22. He has spent his 25+ year career in building design and enjoys working on residential homes and multi-million dollar commercial projects. His broad construction knowledge and experience gives him a solid base to undertake any residential or commercial design project.
When he’s not in the office you’ll catch him catching the best surf break on the coast or on the tennis court.
Sam Wardman – Interior Designer
Samantha (Sam) is the resident interior designer at design studio 22 and boasts a passion for both commercial interior design and residential new homes and renovation design projects. With a natural ability to understand and connect with her client’s needs and vision, Sam brings to life homes and commercial venues with a focus on sustainability, user experience and quality finishes. She’s currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. When she’s not designing spaces, Sam is usually exploring the best coffee and food spots on the Coast and beyond.
Aravind (AV) Vinayagamurthy – Graduate Architect
AV is the latest recruit to the Design Studio 22 team. He joins us with a real passion for Architecture and loves navigating the challenges of a project and resolving them through good design. He has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor’s Degree from Bangalore, India. He is a gun 3D video render creator too!
Outside of work he enjoys photography and of course tinkering with videography. He is also a keen sportsman with interests in cricket, badminton, basketball and volleyball… phew not another tennis nut!
